Export DXF for CNC
Send nested layouts to your CNC router or CAM software as a layered DXF file.

Export
- Step 1: Optimize your cut list. For routers, choose the CNC / router nesting method to leave clearance around each part.
- Step 2: Click the DXF button in the cut list header.
- Step 3: Import the file into your CAM software and set up toolpaths as usual.
Layers
| Layer | Contains |
|---|---|
| CUT | A closed outline for every part (net size, kerf excluded). Miters are drawn on linear parts. |
| STOCK | The outline of each sheet or bar. |
| LABEL | Part names and numbers as text. |
Sheets are laid out side by side with a gap between them.
DXF files are in millimeters
